Kamiel is indebted to the staff at the radiology department at hospital 'Gelderse Vallei' in Ede for their quick and professional help. [React] Kamiel decides not to start in SchoorlFebruary 9th 2008 - A combination of a mild cold and an irritated achilles tendon has made Kamiel decide not to start in the Dutch 10 K Road championships. "I just talked it over with my coach Bram and we both agreed not to take this risk in preparation of the City-Pier-City half marathon. | November 7th 2007 - The superb marathon result in the Amsterdam marathon has been noticed by the European Athletics Association. Kamiel was one of the nominees for the European athlete of the month October poll. And he received the highest number of votes from the European fans and press, so he may call himself European Athlete of October 2007.
